Department of Marketing & Communications · Web Developer (Fall CO-OP → Part‑Time)
During a fall CO-OP that transitioned into a part‑time web developer role, I built websites from the ground up in front-end web development softwares such as Wix Studio and Wordpress and and maintained dozens of existing sites. My work emphasized on the building and maintaining of simple to use websites as well as maintaining and overseeing regional and national event websites.
A selection of sites I personally built or collaborated with and launched in Wix Studio:
This website was built for the Catholic Newman center at Colorado School of Mines.
This website highlights 3 different rural parishes. This site was built in collaboration between the parishes and myself.
This website was built for a local parish inspired by their pre-exsisting Wordpress website.
This local parish website was created in collaboration by a colleague and myself. This was a very quick turn-around project needed for a rebranding announcement.
I collaborated in building templates and CMS collections to make content easy to manage and safe to hand off to non‑technical parish staff. This included staff pages, announcements, events, and re‑usable section patterns tailored for local needs.
I completed a research project evaluating how AI in Wix Studio can support both local and regional location websites. The findings were focused on practicality and governance. This was presented to executive and department directors. You can download the full report below.
Summary of capabilities, risks, and recommendations for using Wix Studio’s AI.
